Henry Miller has served as pastor at SBMC since November of 2009. He was born and raised among the Amish in Holmes County, Ohio. God had His hand on him early in life and called him into the ministry at the age of 14. He prepared for kingdom work by attending a Christian High School and then went on to study and graduate from God’s Bible School & College with a Bachelor’s of Religious Education Degree. He has served in pastoral ministry for 27 years and in general evangelism for 13 years. His ministry has taken him to several foreign countries; including Mexico, Bahama Islands, Turks and Caicos Islands, Canada, and the Ukraine.
He has served extensively in the Bible Methodist Connection of Churches as a member of the General Connectional Committee, General Secretary/Treasurer, Business Manager of “The Bible Methodist” publication, Alabama Camp Manager/Treasurer, and Sunday School Secretary. He is an Advisory member of the Interchurch Holiness Convention General Committee. He is an ordained Elder and has a heart for ministering wherever God calls him.
Pastor Miller married a southern Belle - Janan (Agan) who is a gifted musician having studied at Jacksonville State and at Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. The Millers are used as Evangelists and Singers for church revivals and camps as well as speakers at numerous Family Retreats. They have just celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary this year. They have four daughters, all who are married; and they have 9 grandsons and 3 granddaughters.
